Some really ropey lyrics at the end there.

It's like something the Wu-Tang or the GZA would do.

Seriously, had anyone done a song lyrically themed like this before?

It reminded me of "Labels" by the GZA.

Well, that blew my fragile little mind.
It was gr8 more-or-less throughout.
The legend of Gentleman Robber Sir Phillip of Desmond Lyman mushrooms upon a bathtub of funky dung.
What blessed fun that was to listen to.

Re: Phil Lynott - Solo In Soho (1980)
Well, that was mostly fine - Yellow Pearl being borderline outstanding. For me the album started off a little but picked up to decent part way through, with a couple of boringer tracks towards the end. The last track was interesting.
It was on 3/5 for the first few songs, raised to 4/5 around Yellow Pearl but then had stars deducted towards the end.
3.5/5
I can't decide whether for voting to give it 3 or 4.
