Some superbly crafted tunes in the Wombles' oeuvre, albeit ostensibly music for children - much like the B*atles, if we're honest. Only difference being, the kiddies outgrew the Wombles before they'd had time to degenerate into granny music and drug-sodden whimsy.
The Wombles were the band the B*atles could've been, if the latter had had any thematic connection apart from just being scousers.
