Butterfield wrote:https://news.sky.com/story/alf-child-star-benji-gregory-found-dead-in-car-alongside-his-dog-13176444Former child star Benji Gregory - the actor best known for his role in the hit 1980s sitcom ALF - has died at the age of 46.
His sister, Rebecca Pfaffinger, said in a social media post he was found dead in his car alongside his assistance dog last month.
She told celebrity news site TMZ he had fallen asleep in the vehicle in a car park in Arizona and had died of heatstroke. His dog, Hans, also died.
That’s sad too. What a horrible way to go.
I loved Alf. I had an Alf - I think he’s still around somewhere.

ALF toys were a staple of the Argos catalogue in the late 80s.

Mine did not come from Argos.
I bought it myself - I was told I could have anything in the toy dept, and was unleashed to find anything. My grandfather was amazed when I returned with that. He’d never seen it so thought it was just a hideously deformed teddy.
Shame about Shannon.

I can't think where I know him from - maybe just internet memes and such - as I don't think he was famous here.

I remember her being in an incredibly "sexy" ongoing storyline which involved her regularly bedding a semi-naked toy boy.
