I am currently involved in an ambitious culinary attempt to create an exotique dinner that was on on telly yesterday and made me go "right, I'm having that" and then remembered that I don't trust any of the local restaurants (offering a delivery service) to be any good so went on a blinkered mission to assemble all of the various ingredients today and spent much too much money doing so and now it's happening and I'm so, so, so, sooooo very afraid it's going to be baaaaaaaaaaad...

Also, it's been exhausting.

Not helped by how exhausting writing that last post was.

I wasn’t rooting for him. He never roots for me in my endeavours. I was hoping it would be half inedible undercooked slop, half cinders melded to the now ruined pans.
