Dull but quite warm and close.

Warmed up in the afternoon.

The further south I got yesterday, the hotter it got. I had to stop in a KFC car park near Doncaster to take my coat off.

Ten minutes ago, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and it was shaping up to be a hot summer's day.

But, suddenly, there's thick, dark clouds everywhere.

I wouldn’t say hot. It was well under 30c, but temperatures have become reasonable for the end of June.

It seemed hot after Glasgow.

And it feels hot today.

I had to venture outside around noon. It was very close and energy sapping.

Beautiful early morning. The sun shining into my parents' north-facing kitchen in a way it never does at any other time of year.

It is cloudy but it is apparent that it will soon burn away.

Rather bubbly clouds here, I wonder if we might be in for a shower.

A maximum of 27 degrees expected here.

One one side of the house, there is blazing sunshine.

On the other, there are thick rainclouds.
