A strange morning in which there are heavy clouds everywhere, apart from over the distant hills which are in bright sunshine despite usually being shrouded in cloudy, Lovecraftian gloom.

On one of the most southern hills which is normally almost black and visually impenetrable, I can see purple heather and a tall white pole whose purpose I cannot hope to fathom at this distance.
