The weather radar shows rain spilling across the country from the west.

Half an hour ago it had only reached Chester.

Now its tendrils are reaching out for Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford.

Stafford has been engulfed!

Cloud and grey, with the sun trying to break through the clouds.

It's a cold bright sunny morning, with a breeze ruffling the forsythia. Ideal weather for driving to Teesside.

Half an hour ago, ominous clouds were looming everywhere but, now, the skies are clearing and the sun is threatening to break through.

But, somehow, only officially 6 degrees.

Yesterday was all showers, with a massive hailstorm about 3pm when I was stuck in the car park in Sainsburys.

Today it's a fine sunny start to Easter Saturday. I've had to open the window because the room's too warm, for the first time in 2024.
