I always really disliked Return of the Mack, and Mark Morrison in general. George Michael's Fastlove was a worthy number one replacement.

I've just checked the cheap generic tv listings magazine, and they're only showing 2 episodes of Top of the Pops tonight, one from 1983, the other from 1977.

I believe 1996 episodes featuring Grange Hill/London's Burning actor-turned pop singer John Alford of all people are going to be skipped. I've forgotten what he's alleged to have done; perhaps I'll keep it that way.
