One of my crowns has come off, and I couldn't get a re-fixing appointment till Dec 27.

And the stupid pharmacy gave me a denture repair kit instead of a crown repair kit. I'll have to go back there tomorrow and reason with them.

I'll also have to deploy the old 'chew up a cashew nut so it fills the hole' trick to get through Christmas dinner..

The pharmacy did give me my money back, but they didn't have any crown repair kits.

However this morning, while buying my onions and other necessaries, I noticed some tubes of denture fixative, so I got one on the off-chance it would work as a temporary fix.

It worked wonderfully! The crown didn't even come off while I was eating my tea! Full marks to the people who manufacture this stuff.

I have to go to the dentist soon to have the crown fixed back on properly.

I don't really want to go out, I feel all sated and bilious.

I have returned from having the crown fixed. And the fresh air made me feel a lot better.

I also woke up from a nap with limited hearing on the left, so I'll have to get that seen to.
