I'll give this an . I have her greatest hits but I think this album is from after that, and the fact she moved from Mike Batt to William Orbit is intriguing.

No idea. I’ll always have a soft spot for her because my friends parents announced at lunch one day that their ‘lovemaking’ had improved since they purchased a Katie Melba CD to listen to during.

While their kids spluttered in horror, I asked who Katie Melba was, and they jointly broke into ‘this is the nearest thing to crazy…’, so it was all ‘ah, Melua’. Whatever floats your boat is my firm belief.

I'll never understand people who "do stuff" whilst listening to music. I remember hearing one comedian say that they couldn't concentrate and just ended up listening to the song and analysing the chord changes and such.

Some people are melbasexual - get over it.

I do know what the comedian meant - this happened to me many years ago when my gaze drifted to the television, which was screening the evening episode of Neighbours, and the guy I was with eventually noticed that I was actually watching it rather than participating.
