Watching the early stages of this video what YouTube recommended to me...
...reminded me that, when he died, I found a tub of dripping in my dad's pantry.
Not wishing to risk instant death by using it, I threw it away.
But what of you? Are you a fan of such substances?
If so, now is the time to tell the world.

I hear that all the fancy restaurants in that there London insist on only ever doing their chips in that there dripping.

There's a pub near me that cooks their chips in beef dripping, which is the only context in which I've ever encountered any of these things. They are very good chips, so I'd have to say I'm a fan.
