| 'An adman's idea of a Smiths album cover' as someone, possibly a Smith, put it.
I do like the cover of Golden Lights that's on there though. And that's an unfashionable opinion. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| I do remember that when Kenneth Williams died Morrissey did go off on one decrying the fact that yet another one of 'The Things That Make Britain Great' had disappeared. Despite having always disliked The Smiths, I do remember agreeing with this statement simply on the basis that I was sad that the uniquely brilliant KW had died and, for a while at least he went up in my estimation. Then was the fact that he then did a few good tunes post Smiths and, soon, I was virtually, actually liking him. However, I realise now that I failed to see the pernicious, subtextual bigger picture of what he was saying with his plaintive Williamstalgia. I suppose, on reflection, for me, it's the first signal of the appalling, Little England d*uchebaggery to come. _________________ Ibble obble black bobble, ibble obble out!

| James.
In the past I've had two of their studio albums but I've only kept the Best Of, which I like. |

| I've only ever owned one James album. The singles from it were definitely the highlights. _________________ |

Which is lucky as they've got about 5 of them. _________________ I saw weird stuff in that place last night. Weird strange, sick, twisted, eerie, Godless, evil stuff…
