I have issues with those numbers because in the grey drizzly morning of the world, when I was forced to go to a new school only accessible by bus, the best bus was the number 56, with the 55 a close second cos it meant walking an extra 300 yards.

The 52 and 54 stopped about 1200 yards from my house, and the 51 and 53 went to another town altogether, so they were right out of the picture.

But while I was grimly waiting in the fag-smoke-ridden bus station for a bus home, in the grainy black and white of November 1981, I'd constantly be disappointed in my wait for a 55 or 56 by a 51..54.

So I'm afraid you've really upset me by mentioning the numbers 51, 52, 53 and/or 54.

I can think of lots of examples, like Level 42 and Wretch 32 and Blink 182 but none of them end with 51, 52, 53 or 54.

I have voted for Studio 54 because it appeals to my instincts to .

Twasn't there a band (dreadful one at that) called Sum 51?
Or did I dream that? I don't want to go looking because from what I recall (whether real or imagined) they were rubbish.
