That game came with QBASIC, which was a jolly good version of BASIC that came with DOS 5.
I used QBASIC to write a text adventure based on the concept of Saturday night out in Chelmsford. You had to score maximum Satisfaction - SAT was increased by drinking, eating chips and talking to people, but decreased by throwing up, getting insulted or running out of money.
At the end of the evening you had to walk back to my friend's house, with my friend. The longer you stayed, the more SAT you got, but if you stayed so long that he asked you to leave, you lost SAT.
I feel like enhancing it now, with a 'preloading' drinking feature, and SAT loss for drinking too quickly.
