| I think there might be two endings to SDR. The tragic one is - despite the film being absolutely rubbish - entirely gratuitously grim in that way '70s films often were. I'm pretty sure that the one on TalkingPitchers is the "Yeah,-David-Essex-is-the-Champion-of-the-Motorbike-Racing-Match-on- His-"SilverDreamMachine"-Oh-Noes-He's-Crashed-and-Exploded  -cue-Freeze-Frame-of-His-Girlfriend's-Face-Twisted-in-Anguish-and-Horror  " version though. I think the 'happy' ending one just cuts it short as he crosses the line in triumph. I don't think there's a alternate ending with other footage and dialogue and everything.
