There has been rumbling in the distance for the last half an hour, then there was just a flash of lightning which I saw come through a crack under my blackout blind and a few seconds later a big rumble of thunder. It has now gone ominously quiet.

The thunderstorm which has been proceeding north from Derbyshire all evening appears to have stalled near here. There haven't been any new lightnings on the map for about 10 minutes.

You can actually get moonbows, but they're quite rare, and quite faint.
Beware of the online images of moonbows btw, a lot of them are actually of moon haloes.
