Hold on. If she's 15, why is she already doing her GCSEs?

It takes 2 years to do a GCSE. She could be the 4th year, or 10, in new money.

Also, according to Wikipedia, she's American. So, how has she been doing GCSEs? Do they have GCSEs in America?

I caught a bit of Wimbledon while waiting for the hard disc of delights to spin up yesterday evening. Every time I see it I'm overcome with relief that I don't have to go to SW London for appointments in June/July any more.

It's just been on the radio that there's two players playing today who are each 7 foot tall.

Then again, that's the radio station that told me yesterday's player was doing her GCSEs this week.

I watched the latter half of her match and it wasn't the most thrilling tennis match you could ever see. One of the commentators pretty much said that too. At one point it seemed like she'd given up as she kept hitting the net, but she recovered after a while and went on to win, despite the other player having match point herself ages earlier in the game.

But I think it was Martina Navratilova who said if Coco/Cori doesn't win this year she will within the next three years or so. In fact, she could be appearing at Wimbledon for the next 25 years!
