This afternoon, inspired by our recent Cheetos discussion, I bought a pack of Cheesy Wotsits for the first time since the mid-1990s.

It was a five pack.

I got it from Poundland.

They were very nice, although they did leave my fingers orange.

It didn't actually say anywhere on the pack what they were, in terms of were they made from potatoes, corn, rice, whatever? It just said, "Baked," but baked what?

What recent Cheetos discussion?

I'm left out of everything.

That'll be 'corn' in the American sense of sweetcorn (maize), I'll be bound....

I seemed to remember us having a discussion about Cheetos, Fritos and Wotsits, but I can't find it on our own search or our google search, so it might just have been a wikihole I fell into one drunken night.

We definitely had a discussion about Cheetos/Wotsits somewhere on the forum in recent weeks but I can't remember where or what prompted it.

I remember that Oreos were also mentioned during it.

This sort of thing is only going to get worse as we all get older

I have just had a bag of Cheetos.

It was my first time eating them.

They are almost identical to Wotsits, except they don't leave an orange residue all over your fingers.

I think I prefer Wotsists, as the flavour is very slightly stronger.

I've just had a big bag of spicy Wotsits and now I have a noticeably accelerated breathing rate. I think it's over-stimulated me.

I have two bags of Giant Wotsits in the cupboard. One is cheese flavour, other is spicey.
