That's a shame.

I must say, I absolutely hated Last of the Summer Wine. The theme tune alone makes me feel like life isn't worth living.

I never really understood what it was all about. Why did those women wear hats indoors? Why did they all regularly drink tea and snipe at each other and everyone they knew? Why did those marriages not end in divorce rather than mid level dislike? How did the daughter end up being such a sap? Why were the men not in supported accommodation for adults who can't live independently? Why did nobody ever update their decor or wear modern clothing? Why was everyone so rude to each other? Was anyone meant to be likeable?

It was a great big Sunday night Yorkshire mystery to me.
