If the "F" from Frome wears out and you have to replace it, then the same happens to the "rome" and, likewise you buy a new one and attach it, is it still the same Frome?

I saw a picture of the audience for that from above, it looked like baked beans on toast.

I couldn't decide between Penelope Trappes or Midwife, and now they've combined the gigs so they're playing together at the same venue

The AO gig was pretty good BTW.
Pretty massive crowd too.
I was surprised by how many people attended.
The Academy was more-or-less full - so probably well over 4000 people.
She's an incredibly good live singer and the (eight piece) band was pretty good (the violin and cello could've been louder though).
The set comprised mostly songs from her All Mirrors and Big Time, but there was one I didn't know that got the crowd all excited (maybe from the album you did last night?).
She herself is a rum 'un - doesn't seem comfortable at all being literally the centre of attention and was weirdly taciturn and even vaguely chippy with the audience near the stage.
The gig was pretty short as well (an hour or so?) and the encore was a crowd-pleasing but ultimately quite fobby-offy version of "Without You" by Nilsson.
Ultimately, although the gig was consistently entertaining and the playing and singing of high quality, there was something about her, herself, that felt ill at ease, awkward and a bit cold.
My pal Tina, whom I attended the gig with, said that she'd heard some radio show that she'd 'curated' and presented a while back and that, despite playing some good music, she was similarly cold, flat and unenthusiastic - boring even.
Basically, like she didn't want to be doing it and was doing a poor of job of pretending otherwise.

Did she stop to move the microphone?

More than once in fact!

I have been to a concert.
Whether or not it was moving is as yet a moot point.
The acoustics at the UC were perhaps not ideal for such a sound and much of the classic songs were lost in a Lionel blare of almost-NINny tinny, thudding noise.
Like, for instance, see, it was only after HF started singing that you could recognise what song it was.
Still, it was nice to have assembled a trio of unlikely female friends as company.
Many people in the audience were absolute douchebags as well BTW.
SRSLY, the first place we tried to sit I asked a guy (who had his bag on the seat to his right) whether he could move 1' to the right so we all could sit down together and he simply said no and carried on reading his book.
I then continued to bait him/the side of his head regarding his moribund countenance and warned him that he risked impending death from a canker of the soul if he kept up his bilious stance towards his fellow men.
Then I asked him what book he was reading; was it 120 Days of Sodom or Digital Fortress or perhaps the Bible?
We then had to move down from the gallery because I genuinely wanted to smash his face in and none of my lady companions wanted me to go to prison that to happen.
But, when we left, I still told everyone nearby that he had a leaky colostomy bag and was tick-bound.

High Fidelity, is a reference to Jack Black's band in the film of the same name.

I didn't realise Nightjar was so tough.
Or had so many lady friends.

I'm not really tough, I just act it.
Also, I more-or-less have only lady friends.
All of the women last night were exes of some sort or another.
All Scorpios too.
In fact, virtually every woman I know is a Scorpio.
This many I reckon...
