So very close to go for the 1998 classic, Blood, but my 2019 award for best game of the year goes to:
Postal 2!
Funniest game I've ever played.

The award still goes to Resident Evil 4.

My vote goes top the chess.com online chess game.
I still can't beat it at Level 10.

I was going to say that it's lucky for this thread that Llamasoft aren't still going, because they'd dominate the awards.
Then I discovered that they are still going.

Why don't you open another tab and have it play level 11? :Evil2:

I did play Ion Fury all the way through and got all the Steam achievements, I hardly cheated at all.
Wrath: Aeon of Ruin was alright, and Viscerafest looks interesting, But I keep returning back to Blood, there's something about the way the Cultists attack you, and the movement, and the way they scream when set them on fire, and The Death Wish Mod? Wonderful!

I've been mostly playing Daggerfall Unity
And I really need to check out the later Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim games, one of these decades, I don't know if I've got time to fully explore them, I did buy them when they were on cheap on Steam, but…
So my winna is Redneck Rampage, it's not perfect, but it's a lot better than it's reputation, and for a game that came out in 1997, it's well gorgeous.
Actually, make it Redneck Rampage Rides Again, :yeeHaw:

I vote for the chess.com, "Play Santa," option, as online chess is the only computer game I've played all year.

For the 1996 award I nominate the free pinball game that came with packs of TDK 3½" discs.
