The other day, in a YouTube comments section, I saw loads of people going on about TikTok in relation to some song or other but didn't know what they were referring to. Neither did other YouTube commenters. It was a morass of confusion.

I learnt all about Tik Tok from the Financial Times. Basically the young people use it to make 15 second videos cruelly mocking other young people's 15 second videos. Someone will probably end up topping themselves as a result, and TT will say they're doing something about it, but probably they won't.
