Do goths still exist? I don't see so many of them around anymore. On my recent trips into towns and cities they seem to have been replaced by those who like to play with their gender rather than their dark side.

Being gothic always was a great cover for gender variance, I exploited it myself many times in the 80s.
I suppose that now the young people are able to express themselves more openly, the goth cover isn't needed any more.
