| The intro lacks the magic of the original. _________________ |

| This is definitely the weaker Stone's cover. |

| Apart from the guitars, the original works because of the contrast between Mick Jagger's total inability to sing and Merry Clayton's vocal powerhousing. This lacks that contrast. _________________ |

| Is she getting the lyrics wrong on purpose or has she just messed it up? _________________ |

| It is over. I felt that was an album whose songs were not as good as the vocals and it had a lumbering feel in places that prevented it fully coming to life in the way that it threatened to. Shorter tracks and more conciseness would have benefited it. Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it. _________________ |

| I'm not sure I want to do that TG one now, what with Gen dying.
And I've also heard it too many times, I've nothing new to think about it. |
