Yeah, you know you want to do this one.

whatever

Debbie Harry - KooKoo (1981) R-1582849-1396800492-3276.jpeg

Released with much hype and hoopla, produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards of Chic (the former who'd produce Bowie's Let's Dance the following year), featuring cover art by Alien (1979) visionary artist and all-round Hans Bellmer rip-off H.R. Giger... etc

It bombed.

Critically mauled, Worldwide it sold only one copy - tragically, to a tramp living in a wheelie-bin who'd accidentally been given a tenner by an over-eager student from the Slade* and who was Blodnie's biggest fan (literally, he was 9' tall and weighed 6 tonnes) who could've'd spent it on a nourishing bap with caviar and foies gras in with chips on the side but who then went on to die in a beard-fire-murder committed by unruly Hare Krishnas at a loose end who thought he had foies gras in his beard even though it was only humous.

Not even some humous he'd even eaten neither.

Humous gobbed on him inadvertently by Davina McCall as she exited a Michelin ★★ Lebanese restaurant on Piccalilli Gherkin, near CT's flat. sad yes

*coincidence, or something altogether more contrived?

This is going to sound like a Yoko Ono album, isn't it?

This bit sounds like something from that Bovvie sell-out album.
