Kim Wilde - Select (1982).
The follow-up to her universally adored first album, Kimberley turned the Kraftwerk up to 11 for this one. As far as I can make out, it's not a favourite among her fans but how will the more-esoteric tastes of TNHOTW judge it?
We know it has at least two classic tracks on it, in Cambodia and View From a Bridge.

Still sounds like she needs some Sudafed.

I'm not hearing many low register notes.

Re: Kim Wilde - Select (1982).
The chord change in the verse's opening line seems to have been inspired by OMD's Messages.

It's quite moreish Moroderish.

Re: Kim Wilde - Select (1982).
Kim Wilde is what LaRoux wants to be but never can be.
