Bruises

I have a horrible big yellow bruise on my arm, from banging it on the banister as I was going downstairs, earlier this week.

My friend has been posting photos of her appallingly bruised foot on FB. She tripped on some steps while drunk in charge of flip-flops.

While in a rush to get ready this morning I stumbled into the edge of the toilet, and now I've got a big bruise just below my knee.

I suspected a bruise was appearing on the back of my hand last week. I had a couple of extra Propanolol for the panic, and monitored things for a few hours. It came to nothing.
I can fall down stone stairs without bruising. I have lived in terror of a real bruise appearing for decades - deep bruising is very often the first visual sign of the most aggressive form of leukemia.
Of the two women of my acquaintance who quickly died of that, both found inexplicable bruises which led to them being diagnosed. The second of the two, I insisted she go for tests instead of waiting to see if things improved.

I've got an absolute peach of a bruise on my left calf...

I have a vague recollection of falling down in my flat last night.
It may have been a bit of a minor catastrophe.
I deffo fell backwards and must've'd fallen backwards.
...raking my bare right arm down something unforgivingly wooden with an unvarnished edge.
Something like the posh wine box I use as a drinks table next to the computer.
As a result I now have a seriously florid bruise on my right under-forearm.
Sexy pics to follow.

I tripped over in my storage unit and fell onto a piece of furniture, twisting my leg and bruising my shin, shoulder and chestal area. And a massive Ikea plastic tub which had been on top of the furniture crashed onto the floor right in front of me.
There was a great big heavy TV-VCR on top of the furniture too, if that had fallen on my head I probably wouldn't be typing this now.
