"Misunderstood"
Or maybe not…

Re: Bird Words
I got little Gnasher a little tent thing for a bedroom/space to get out of the sun, and after studiously ignoring it all day went into it when he went to bed!
I got a big bird bath with a working tap and everything for Ziggy, but it seemed to start leaking, so I had to take it away, but it seemed alright on the drain board. Might be too big for little Ziggy, I don't know if she'll be able to get out when she's wet?

Re: Bird Words
I generally dislike tattoos, but I like KM's birdie ones.

Re: Bird Words
It's probably become discoloured from eating too many pink marshmallows.

Re: Bird Words
There's a nest of baby blackbirds in the tree outside my window and they cheep and chatter all day long.
It's both very cute and slightly annoying.
That said...
1: The other day there were two boys of about 9 years old (with their lazy parents having a picnic nearby, not paying attention) and the boys were throwing stones at them - so I leant out the window and gave them both a right b*llocking they won't forget. In fairness they were both quite ashamed. Then the whole family all packed up their stuff and went away, all the while staring gimlet eyed at my bedroom window.
I'm not scared - f*ck them.
2: Today I heard the unmistakably sharp, repetitive alarm signal/distraction technique chirping of the parent blackbirds; which always means the nest is under threat.
Usually, in the past, you'll look out the window and see a cat quietly and maliciously sat at the foot of the tree, but on this occasion I knew better.
It were bl*nking magpies croaking and squawking and just generally being horrible and murderous, as is their wont.
Happily though, I've discovered that I can simply clap my hands together quite hard and the acoustics of 'The Quadrant' spook them immediately and they fly away.
Ergo: The sharp (and necessarily annoying) parent blackbird chirping stopped.
However, the babies have continued to chirrup away constantly.
Ungrateful little baskets.
