I understand that 1983's Now 1 is being re-released on double vinyl, double CD and - yes - double cassette!

The original Now 1 cassette had a rather bland cover compared with the legendary LP cover.

There was a big stack of NOW! 100 in Tescos this morning. I didn't buy one, or even look at the track listing. I've accepted that 1986 isn't coming back.

It appears to not have a video.

It sounds like a cross between Spiro Gyra and Michael Jackson.

It is, however, totally unfamiliar to me.

I have never heard of this song.
Neither have I. And I have an original copy of Now 2.
I think I'll have a listen to the video you posted.
Well, it's not very 80s, but more late 70s-sounding.

It reached number 15 in 1984. I wonder if we saw it on repeats of Top of the Pops, or if it was on a Jimmy Sav*le edition.

Searching for it on the old forum brings up no results.

Gosh, just take a look at those Now! 2 hits. It's like an afternoon listening to Laser 558, where you were never more than a minute away from the music.

Clean.
The CD version is apparently an import, eh?
And everyones kicking off because there's no autorip, have people lost the ability to rip their own CD or something?
Or am I the one out of date?

I've bought the newly released Now II (originally released in 1984) on double CD, the first time it has ever been available on that format.
