I thought it might be some kind of Brummie delicacy. I eventually got the video to work and she said the sausage is removed from its casing and smeared, raw, on toast. It's quite a thought. I recall seeing Cilla saying she loved sheep hearts vom

I'm not great with raw meat. I can only buy already prepped wafer thin deli meats, and if it's anywhere near whole uncooked chickens etc I have to progress up the aisle very carefully. Ever on guard to shield my eyes or back out entirely and quickly.

But I thank you for the learning experience. Apart from being in the midlands, I wasn't sure where or what Tipton was so I googled it and was rewarded with lots of interesting coloured photos of it in the 70's and early 80's. It looked almost picturesque.
