As this event will be the first ever Quadraphonic listening event dedicated to Sun Ra's Arkestra Quadraphonic LP recordings from the 70's, in Cafe OTO I'll be using 4 stacks – 16 speakers (Of Quad Electrostatic speakers) in total!

The speakers will be powered by 8 classic QUAD II (1953) mono-blocks valve amplifiers, with the original GEC / MARCONI KT66.

My CD player was playing up, it's been so long since I've turned it on, I found out the power cable wasn't fully plugged in, it's working fine now.

Did I mention it blew a .350A slow blow fuse, I changed it with a 1A one, which was incinerated, so I was going to take it to the makers to get it fixed, until I noticed the 1A wasn't a slow blow one, found the correctly rated 2A slow blow one, and it's been fine.


I had it al packed up and everything ready for my trip.
