You certainly saved more money, assuming you'll be able to eat them before they go off.

I wouldn't want vege-mince for my victory breakfast though. It has to be an omelette.

For my lunch I had a high quality Co-op rectangular pizza, reduced from £3.55 to £1.99. It was delicious. And by omitting the usual chips or baked potato, I had room for the whole thing. And I ate it with my fingers like people on telly.

For my pudding today I had two Co-op egg custard tarts, reduced from 89p to 59p.

They were nice, but I always regret buying egg custard tarts, cos there's too much egg custard and not enough pastry.

I nearly bought some discount potato salad from Tescos, but it was only reduced from 94p to 69p, so I turned my nose up at it.
