Corny 1940s pastiche.

Ginger is a fairly ordinary singer isn't she.

Re: Spice Girls - Spiceworld (1997)
It is over.
It was pleasant and unthreatening but struggled to achieve vitality, as only one of them was capable of putting any energy into her vocals.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

That was pretty d*rn entertaining.
Perhaps a song or three went on a little too long, but it'd take a churl of Wendi-esque proportions to dislike any of it.
Peppered with solid dance numbers, frothy pop and two epic, lush strings a-go-go songs (both of which I legally own in reality) it was on the whole a triumph.

Sporty is obviously a good singer - good vocal range and power.
Baby is pretty good - tasteful, likeable.
Scary is OK, definitely passable - adds character.
Ginger is ordinary at best - a mugging chancer.
Posh, well...

Best single they ever released, and the first not to go to number one.
Stop was the first not to get to number one; Too Much was 1997 Christmas Number One

At the time this was used on an advert featuring the Spice Girls - Pepsi or something.

Me three. I know at least two other people who do too - or at least did.
