I'd do it manually - make a line with the Measure Distance tool, then estimate the compass direction/bearing by eye.

About four miles into the North Sea. I’m not, I’m in Cellardyke, in an old cottage overlooking the Forth. I have a little patio with a low wall, beyond which is the water crashing onto rocks. It’s very relaxing. Although the ceilings are very low, which keeps disconcerting me. It’s a real bolthole.

I’ve grown to like the O2 Millennium Dome. I hated it for years.

I didn't really like the Millennium Dome until I flew back from New York over it in 2003 whilst about to land at Heathrow and it looked a bit iconic.

I don't seem to have seen it for ages in any media. Does it still exist? You only ever see inside of "the O2".
