The forum in which all human experience resides. Especially for fans of the now-deceased original Hall of the Wendigo. Still Number One with the core demographic.

The Ice Cube cover is from his first solo album AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted.
Straight Outta Compton was from when he was in NWA and is from the album Straight Outta Compton.
Honestly.

Looks like the Universal Musical Group has unleashed the copyright bots recently.

My Heritage has a feature where they can animate photos of your dead ancestors for you.

At the very best that's going to end with my ancestors reproving me for disturbing their rest, in booming Welsh or Lancashire tones. And that as I say is the best case scenario.

This is what the pinnacle of technology has wrought us? Boarderline Rule 34 of pop stars?

I have heard today that Windows 12 is going to have AI built into it.

I downloaded(?) two AI chatbot apps the other day - and they were both deleted within 10 minutes. Both answered exactly the same things.
I began like I often do with these things.
Me: When did Tina Turner die?
AI's reply, words to the effect of: Tina Turner is still alive. She was born in Nutbush, Tennessee on....
Me: This is incorrect information. Tina Turner died this year.
AI: I am sorry if my information is incorrect. My sources go up to 2021.
Me: This isn't good enough.
AI: Is there anything else you'd like to ask me?
Me: No. *delete*
So I tried the second AI app, with a different name and logo:
Me: When did Tina Turner die?
AI: Tina Turner is still alive. She was born in Nutbush, Tennessee on....
Me: This is incorrect information. Tina Turner died this year.
AI: I am sorry if my information is incorrect. My sources go up to 2021.
Me: This isn't good enough.
AI: Is there anything else you'd like to ask me?
Me: No. *delete*

I always knew the Turing Test should have been whether a computer can tell you if Tina Turner is still alive.

I estimate that 50% of the apps I install get deleted in the first ten minutes.

This may not be for everyone for political reasons, but AI has translated the new Argentinian president's Spanish-language speech at the World Economic Forum into English, dubbing it quite seamlessly with what is supposedly his own accent and with correct lip movement.

That can't be true,

Elon Musk going big on this today.
I like how it describes red hair as beautiful. Though it perhaps shows Google AI's blatant bias and telling people exactly what to think.

The San Marino selection for the Eurovision included four 'enhanced by AI' songs , with the winner getting a place in the 17 song final. A 74yr old woman got to the grand final, finishing in 7th place with 'The Last Polar Bear'
