Do you reckon that the moment a goth band do something even vaguely humorous or irreverent they immediately cease to be officially goth?

I think I'm going to start reusing posts from the review of JuJu.

The bass playing there was like off of a T/G album.

Produced by Mick Glossop. No wonder it sounds so Teutonic.

After all, it's all they did.

There's nothing wrong with this, but it's getting a bit, hmm.. dull.

You've got to say you're not a Goth Band, that's all that really matters. That way you can be most famous for silly little pop songs about cats and stuff and still be a respected Goth Band even if the silly little pop songs about cats are the best ones.

If you're a goth then anything featuring cats gets an immediate triple A pass.
