I released it back into the wild.

There was a ladybird on the inside of the kotchen window yesterday!

EDIT: And it was a traditional red and black one like the smiley.

I love them. I don’t think I’ve seen one for years. They used to be happily common. There was a time when just sitting in any garden for a few minutes would result in one coming along to say hello.

I have just liberated 6 ladybirds from my living room.

That makes 10 in the past week.

Two ladybirds in the kotchen today - one was walking on the window and the other was hanging suspended from an invisible cobweb on the ceiling and was trying to get free!

I went back into the kotchen about 10 minutes later and it had vanished.
