The mouse thread
My Poundland mouse stopped working properly last week so I bought a new one from Poundland over the weekend. I got used to the jerkiness and slightly bizarre movements of the old one but this one seems even more jerky and inaccurate.
Looking back at the old forum it turns out I'd been using the old one for more than 10 months, which is probably what I'd expect for a plasticky £1 mouse.

I bought a new Poundland mouse last Monday. I have yet to take it from its packaging, as I haven't need it yet.

Is yours in a special little bag like mine?

Re: The mouse thread
It is! It has a polythene front and a foil back and it says, "Click, click!" on it.

Mine too! The funny thing is it's one of those resealable plastic bags like you perhaps use for storing food in - yet there's no reason to reseal a mouse bag.
It has a Willenhall address on the back, which isn't far from where I bought it on Saturday, in Walsall.

Considering that at least two members of this forum use such a mouse, I think the forum's official computer mouse should be the Poundland "click, click!" optical mouse.
...Despite its build quality and usability being a little bit patchy at times.

I had a Microsoft mouse some years ago. It did last me about 10 years - but then it cost about 30 or £40 if I remember rightly. The Poundland mouse costs just a pound.

I got my mouse free, from work. It was surplus to requirements
Re: The mouse thread
My Magic Mouse is playing up big time.
It may be coming to the end of its days.
I have another pristine one somewhere, but I can't find it.

I've found it!
It was hiding in plain sight.
