Talking about that sort of thing, I turned off 11b on my router to see if that speeds things up a bit.

Can't tell much difference at the mo, maybe I need to dig out my Amiga 1200 to see if that network card works?

I'm now on 11n only! It dosn't go any more moderné than that.

I've just put my new 5 ghz wifi card in my laptop. It's achieved a download speed of 56 mbps.

I've just tested it again. It's managed 88 mbps with a brief peak of 106 mbps.

I've just tested it again.

103 mbps with a peak of 115 mbps.

It was only about 30 mbps with the old card.

Look at the difference in speed between the 21st and today.
