We too had more thunder today, at around 6pm I think it was. It wasn't quite as epic as the day before as the thunder never quite fully reached us and there wasn't much lightning - but there was very heavy rain again and distant rumbling for a couple of hours, plus it was still really humid.

So that's three consecutive days of thundery weather we've had now - and more is predicted tomorrow. I don't think I've ever known it quite like this before! These days we're lucky if we get one big thunderstorm a year and years ago we'd have just one or two big and separate thunderstorms a year.

We had a sort of half-hearted thundery shower at breakfast time - big raindrops and some perfunctory rumbles of thunder.

It's suddenly gone insane out there. There's thunder. There's lightning. There's rain. There's big lumps of ice falling from the sky and smashing into things. dontpanic
