I have a horrible feeling this thread might expand exponentially over the coming weeks and months.

I saw Joanie on television the other day, talking about her emergency flight back to London from LA, and how before settling in, she had wiped down the entire seat and adjacent wall of the plane. Looking more frail these days, but still good for nearly 90.

Wikipedia deaths informs me that Alan Merrill of 70s band the Arrows (who had a UK top 10 hit with "A Touch Too Much" in 1974) and who co-wrote Joan Jett's "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", has died aged 69 from a certain current world virus.

There's going to be loads of this. Apparently the USA is expecting their peak to resemble the Italian one, but scaled up across six/seven times the population.

It sounds like Eddie Large wasn't in great shape before he picked up the virus in hospital. The BBC's report described him as having died with the virus rather than from it, but then from what I understand I think a lot of the deaths can be described as that.

Who knew he was actually Scottish and was really called Hugh McGinnis? I mean, I knew Little and Large weren't their real names and all that, but still.
