Nope, can't think of anything funny for the ratings.

And its over.
Yes, I prefer his synth messing around with much better than the average Wings rock song.
I would give it ★★★★★ if the songs were a little more, err memorable.

I've slapped it onto the live version of Coming Up. How could anyone prefer this slightly bloodless trad rock version?

It is over.
Unless we stick around for Check My Machine, the track that invented the future.
That was an album that is hard to pass judgment on. Objectively, it's just a load of musical doodles with the odd proper track thrown in to give it some substance but, for whatever, reason, it always gives me great pleasure.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

I think he would have made much better music if he'd been in some obscure rock and roll band in the 60s and only when his midlife crisis kicks in and started making electro-pop albums without having to slap in a couple of old stylé songs for the people too slow to move with him.
Or something.
Or something.

It's somewhat typical of McMacca this.
Lite 'n frothy, but actually very sophisticated.

Re: Paul McCartney - McCartney II (1980)
It's kinda like a high tempo "Let 'Em In".

Re: Paul McCartney - McCartney II (1980)
This is almost like Led Zeppelin or Claptout style blues.
