This is, IMHO, Cale's best album.

His limited vocals are beefed up, angrier and better matched to the harder, more strident and chunky '75 greatest-ever-year-of-analogue-production-and-ergo-the-greatest-ever-year-of-music-production-ever sound.

I'm going to add the YouTube link later however because there are a number of different releases that, although they aren't the very earliest versions, are better and include more and better songs.

I'm hoping that BachyBorgleZ might help me create a definitive Youtube playlist.

Yeah, I guess.

That said I think that there are at least two (in truth three) extra songs that were included officially in other versions/releases that deserve to be heard as well.

They're on various versions as bonus tracks.

You & Me, Mary Lou and (the exquisite) Coral Moon they be, ahhrrrr, Jim, Lad!

Anyway, perhaps we should do the original version and, if people have enjoyed the album at all, we could include an optional trio of links?
