It has just started pouring here too after going really dark - first time I've seen actual rain in weeks! There's that strange hasn't-rained-for-weeks earthy smell to go with it too.

Ooh yes, intense showerage in certain areas on the radar. Which provides useful clues as to Butters' and Mr Wiggles' physical location

Now that's promising, it looks like an air mass is slowly moving eastwards and triggering off local showers as it goes. Hopefully it'll make its way out into the Great Plains here.
