Re: Associates - Sulk (1982)
Bap de la bap it's a milestone around your neck
Bap de la bap is checking who in retrospect
Crunching and chewing its way into the bone
Congealing itself with a toy from a splintered home
Bap de la bap it's an animal
Bap de la bap with its left foot off
Bap de la bap it follows you around
Bap de la bap it splutters and it coughs
It's not your fault if you're seeing it stripped and bared
Vasco de Gama only travelled with intent to stare
A burst of hunger leaves it feeling satisfied
A labrador sits on the bed
With its tsetses tied
Bap de la bap it's an animal
Bap de la bap with its left foot off
Bap de la bap it follows you around
Bap de la bap it splutters and it coughs
How does an antelope feel when it's getting chased
The same as a man with a geiger pointing in his face
Bap de la bap disregards all intelligence
Bap de la bap runs througgh us like a barded wire fence
Bap de la bap it's an animal
Bap de la bap with its left foot off
Bap de la bap it follows you around
Bap de la bap it splutters and it coughs
It splutters and it coughs
It splutters and it coughs
It splutters and it coughs
It splutters and it coughs
It splutters and it coughs back to top

This is a lot more err.. experimental that I remember this album being, I'm sure it was a 82 pop album the last time I listened to it.

Is this the song that got banned from the radio for years for causing suicides?

I remember the first time I heard this band.
It was at the time.
I seem to recall that I'd never heard anything so awful in all my life.

Re: Associates - Sulk (1982)
Despite it being the best song so far, it seems a flippantly poppy version.

It's very stylistically derivative of Bowie's version of Wild Is The Wind.

Well, apart from the singing. The Music. And the lyrics.
And the textures of the sounds. I think it's about the same running time, there is that I suppose.
