Hip Hop!
Proper 1983 hip hop!
Or Electro, or whatever it was they were calling it then.

Song For Chango
African drums, Deep bass.
Can't see any credit at to who these people are.
Now got the Art of Noise over the top of them.
spooky!

Soweto
Nice bass Line, sounds how you'd expect it too.

I really errr.. Like this, ![shifty](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/3904149952.gif)
It's made up of other peoples songs.
It's Like the KLF, only cheery!

Re: Malcolm McLaren – Duck Rock 1983
What an odd album.
That last track was an indulgence for McClaren to slap his authorship over it, but I think I liked it, it was novel and genuinely new at the time, I think I've mentioned the KLF,![hmm](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/3462713076.gif)
But I think there was something evil about taking peoples music, especially the African bands, who I suspect weren't that rich and making money off it, and not giving them a writing credit.
I don't remember there being a boom in err...
Mbaqanga music in the early to mid 80s.
But it did have a good beat.
I'm going to give it![hmm](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/3462713076.gif)
★★★★
