I suppose the loan could've come with all sorts of terrible caveats.

Perhaps the loan was taken on by a particularly callous, vicious loan shark?

In that case Papa was a snuggle rumpusing nookie tub.

This whole album has Norman Whitfield's all encompassing hands all over it.

Vocals are too high.

Vocals are getting higher.

Track 5 - I Ain't Got Nothin'.

This is great, but it's so boring…. Every little violin fill is so clichéd, I've just heard everything so many times before.

Which is grossly unfair, as this is probably what wrote half the cliches. It's a song I've half heard so many times, I don't need to actually listen to it.
