No slap on this one.

Way to go.

Wasn't 'Essential Logic' album a bit of a 'demanding' listen, it's been a while.

That's it.

Worn down to a nub I am.

That was.. err.. what do they normally sound like? That appeared to be a B side that wasn't quite good enough.

Anyway it is over.
I quite enjoyed that. But I am groovemeister. But you can understand why none of them are household names. ![sad yes](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/2158945485.gif)

Re: Various – S*x Sweat & Blood (The New Dancability) (1982)
I'll give it ★★★ simply because track 1 was really quite good and because it represented a brief, perhaps confused but interesting transitional period in British alternative music history.
It was done in superior style and in earnest by A Certain Ratio and I guess that bands like Spandau Ballet and Duranx2 grew from it - although it's extremely debatable whether that's a good thing thing.
Especially SB, who I detest.
Also, the influence of Go-Go on a few tracks (strident, gruffly delivered call-and-response 'rapping' etc) was interesting.
Go-Go - like Miami Bass - is a lesser known sub-genre of Rap and Hip-Hop but it was influential for a while (in London at least).

Re: Various – S*x Sweat & Blood (The New Dancability) (1982)
I gave it a ★★★★, as it if I'd picked it up back in the day I'd have probably gone out to check out a couple of the bands, Fashiøn, Ministry, possibly The Dance, and Maybe Maximum ![joy](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/2702966328.gif)
And it all hung together, kinda.
