I just tried a couple of tracks of the rest of the album, that was depressing.

Well, it was better than I remember, most because of the last two tracks. Which I never heard.

A group so bereft of ideas they're reduced to mere pastiches of their old work. Safe as milk, heritage band. Just go out on tour and play note for note versions of Hamburger Lady, Discipline and all your other greatest hits.

This was the equivalent of the next AC/DC album.

A rotting decaying corpse of a group. And not in a good way.

Some of that was pretty good.

Mostly it was relatively pointless in regards to just listening to it on an album.

Or worse still, a Youtube playlist.

That said, not pointless as a Nu-HotW running commentary, mind.
