I never bought any NTWICM albums, but if I had, I'd've bought 7, 8 and 9. (Based on what I taped off the Top 40 instead).

That was a mistake… I just bought more to fill the space

I've now got almost every NOW on LP or CD, up to and including Now 71, my last one. I refuse to buy any after that.

I recently bought Now 31 CD, which I think completes my 30s.

I did once see NOW 20 (the first with the 3D wording still used today) on vinyl in a charity shop for £1, but clever me thought "oh, I've already got this on CD", then I find out it goes for like £25 or something on eBay.

It was released in between NOWs 44 and 45 but doesn't appear on either.

1999's Now 44 is the biggest selling Now album of all time.

The difference being that disc one is the usual 20-odd new tracks, but the second disc features 20 songs selected from previous Now albums!

They totally miss out my original Now-buying years of 1992/93.

Word has it that these days with such a low turnover of singles in the charts there aren't enough new songs to fill up two whole discs.

That is not proper. The meta-selection should be on a separate album called Now That's What I Call Now! That's What I Call Music.
